Used 5 units last year. Got 4 black heifer calves, one would have been a very good candidate for market heifer division but ND doesn't show market heifers. She was out of a red simangus cow the other three were out of red angus cows. They come small and very straight. I was not impressed right away however with each week they got better. Think they might be on the smaller side, not drastic but would put him on clubby stuff. Used critical mass also....also a monopXfull flush, he seems to be the anti clubby bull. Doesn't clean up fronts doesn't add any style and they are pretty average calves but boy do they grow! Hope this helps.

Thanks but if he makes them small and straight why would you put him on clubby stuff? Do you mean NOT to use him on clubby genetics?

Sorry I'm typing this on an ipad. They come straight right away but get much much better. After 3 weeks it's a nonissue. I do suggest not using him on clubby stuff. It's not that they are small now but I'm worried they will run out of gas.

I had three last year (from three units of semen I might add).  Saw a handful in another herd, so not a huge sample but here's my take.  I had two heifers one steer, was hoping for the other way around.  Steer was damn stout with some chrome.  I thought he was plenty straight but no one seemed to care- he was my high seller.  Heifers were really nice too, one a little more cow type the other could have been a great market heifer. Deep ribbed, easy fleshing, thick enough, decent hair, nice heads.  Disposition on them is EXCELLENT. In general I liked them fine, they are plenty on the small side though. Seems like a good enough bull if used right and I love the semen quality/fertility and disposition.
