named Cedar Curve Thumper-- and he just disappeared.  His sire was TAGUE'S EXPLOSION, who was also used by Brockmueller's.

Anyone ever hear of these two bulls?

Speaking of Cedar Curve-- anyone ever own any Cedar Curve cattle?  Anyone ever hear of any other than Farrah or Colleen?

Mark T-- You don't count.

The 3 Cedar Curve animals that come to mind are (besides Farrah and Colleen):
1) Cedar Curve Michaelangelo - Mikes' Cujo son that Dale Muck used , then ended up at Dr Edigers in MD I think.
2) Cedar Curve Briana - A big ole stout Powerplay dtr that Phil Hamilton down here in TN bought, I think it was at one of the 20/20 sales they had at Stoneleas' during the NAILE. Didn't ever really ever produce anything, but she wasn't ever really given a chance at Phils'.
3) Cedar Curve Peaches - a heifer that did some winning for Billy Zack Taylors' dtr. She produced some pretty good cattle. I had a Courier dtr of hers' at one point and I sold her to OHB.

Doc-- both of those cow's mother's-- is a moneyball pedigree...  T-bone x Full spectrum...  T-bone is a bull we are using still today, and plan to use more in the future.

Good to hear they kinda worked for some..

PS. how far from Jonsboro are you?

About 4 1/2 hours.

O, I thought maybe you were close to it... I've got some friends like over in that area-- but they are way over damn neared to SC.  I'm guessing, you'd be pretty much in the middle of the state then?

25 miles north of Nashville , 4 miles off I-65, 15 miles from KY line.

We owned LHF Tartan Coleen, she was the dam of Denver Champion RT Ideal Stockman. She would be way to big for todays standards but was as stout and thick as anything out there. I think we still have some eggs out of her and Gold Link. I also remember Dugdale saying that Cedar Curve Coleen was the best cow in the breed ever.

I would almost be interested in eggs such as that.  Hopefully the Impr 57/ T90 influence would be enough to trump the Rodeo Drive/ Byland/ Gold influence on the very topside...

where did you see it?
