One easy thing to do at a reasonable price is test herdbulls for everything. Just to make sure.....even if he is thought to be clean. Females is another deal. A lot of cost to test say 100 cows.
Think PHA only comes from Clubby Shorts Famous Closed Herd 50 yr Pedigree

Maybe there is two strains of PHA like there were two forms of TH.
