this will be my show steer for the 2013 season! he is a pure bred Hereford out of about time 743! feel free to give comments good and bad!!

Just out of curiosity where do you live and what show are you planning to take him too?

I live in Southern Indiana and ill be taking him to many jack pot shows starting next Saturday all the way through April. The major shows will the Indiana Hoosier Beef Congress, Indiana State preview show, Junior Nationals, And the state fair. Why?

a really nice steer! Show be real competitive in the hereford class. Do you know what he is weighing?

if i had to guess i would say 550lbs? in that general area! but thank you very much. we are proud of him.

He is so cool! You don't see many Herefords with that much style. He's extremely balanced and eye appealing and he doesn't come up in the flank like a lot of steers do. Plus he's nice and hairy with a long clean neck. I'm a big fan!!

I was just curious where you where from, and what shows you had in mind. I think he could stand some serious competition against other Herefords. Good luck!

I wish I had a herf steer that looked like that!  Good luck and I think he should do amazingly well for a purebred steer of any breed for you

Let hope so!!! hahah he will be showing at Winchester in two weeks! i'll keep everyone updated on how he does!
