thoughts on eye candy

Been seeing where Eye Candy is getting used a ton, and I've seen even more calves that are promoted out of him that look the look-- quite a few of them have tons of color as well.  Anyone seen any EC x Shorthorn calves?  Wondering how that's working... 

The calves may be slightly above average,.......not what your looking for, so you should keep looking.

are you always crabby?- if I was your spouse, I'd rethink that and move on? 

how do you know that this is for me?  Actually is for a buddy of mine- who was asking me since I reccommended the bull to him (due to my take on him at Denver two years in a row), and I figured I'd ask on here-- the show steer planet of the world...  But if I knew that ole Frosty would comment-- I think I'd just go sit in a snow drift.

Funny how you dish it out but sure cant take it. Were you not  Mr. Negative a while ago. Just letting you see how annoying it is.

I'd go sit in a snow drift, if we had snow...  It's supposed to be in the 50s today here.. WHy don't you do it for me.?

Here is a pic of an Eye Candy out of a purebred Shorthorn cow from the summer of 2011.  On the Iowa Junior Beef Breeds circut he won 4 shows, reserve at 2 and placed in the top 5 three more times.  He won the Shorthorn Plus Division in the Iowa Junior Shorthorn Field day and the Iowa State Fair 4-H Show.  This is a picture from the middle of summer weighing around 1280.  At state fair he finished at 1320.  We were really happy with him.....

Ours steer is a pretty good rip - we'll see how he will run at state in about 6 weeks
