We are suckers for baldies here.. <party>.He is a nice calf and you look fairly relaxed in photo, so it must be going ok (with his temperament). Pretty profile, looks like he is not terribly straight. What is his target (last show) show? Do they have a Simmental division? If so, will he class that at your target show? I think he might fit nicely in the Simmental division. I guess if I could change him, I would make him a tick chubbier legged (rice root brush and elbow grease help tremendously) and a tick shorter sided. I know it really doesn't make sense, but that extra length pushes those scales down a little too much at the end sometimes. Great project, I hope you have a great year with him!

thanks for the input. My final show is the calgary stampede in july. He is weighing around 1000 pounds. A;so hes out of a TH free bull so the leg hair is hard to get but we've got a cooler for the summer so that will help.
