Trim Feet

Can some one please help me! Not sure what to do I have a heavy breed heifer that her feet need trimmed BAD! She is due to calve the first of March. Is it safe to have her done? My son is going to show her at our county,district and state shows over the next 4 weeks. Thank you for any help

I would do it the sooner the better. I wouldnt do it in the last month. Thats just me tho.

I'm guessing you are going to lay her over?  Do it on an empty belly, I'm betting she will take it well, if not a little slow her down would be in order, be ready, and get it over with, P D Q

if she's heavy bred, and you're worried about trimming her feet- do you think you should worry about dragging her around the country showing her.
