The Union station in Regina is still there and it is a beautiful building. It has been converted into a high end casino and performance center but much of the old architecture is still very visible.

Here is a picture taken when they were filming that movie about my hometown. You may have heard of it. It is called Fifty Shades of Grey.

I sure hope they are not on an outing to see that movie.

The resolution is really good on most of these if you go right to the page.
Here is the page for Regina
http://peel.library.ualberta.ca/search/?search=raw&pageNumber=1&index=postcards&rawQuery=Regina&collection_magee=on&collection_postcards=on&author=&title=&subject=&id=&pubyear=&language=&sort=score

Here is the page for Okotoks
http://peel.library.ualberta.ca/search/?search=raw&pageNumber=1&index=postcards&rawQuery=Okotoks&collection_magee=on&collection_postcards=on&author=&title=&subject=&id=&pubyear=&language=&sort=score

Any town, just plug the name in the SEARCH box on this page. Pretty neat, I think.

Big Rock in Okotoks
The message on the postcard: Message: "This is a remnant of the glacial age. Big Rock is about a mile from my branding place. Have heard from seven out of nine papers and my average on the seven is eighty six percent. Hope to hear from the other two in a few days. Love to all. Stacey."

Had to come back and add these 2. Look at the nice cows in Manitoba circa 1930!
And City Hall, Calgary Stampede Days 1912.
