I was wondering what he works well on.  What does he seem to add/take away?  Any info would be appreciated.
Thanks,

Dusty, I've seen several pretty darn good ones but not their mommas!  So I can't necessarily tell you exactly what they work on!  I believe with the Hannibal being the sire, you will want some middle in the cow!  However,  I think Tycoon or N Charge will give you more middle and less frame then their Dad.  You will get the look, extension, hair, bone and moderate BW IMO!  Can't say for certian but Tycoon might be a good bull to use on alot of different moderate cows.  He sure might be a cow changer!  Tycoon didn't catch my eye as the one when he was in Denver but I do love some of the heifers I've seen out of him.  N Charge however, caught my eye.  Maybe he won't breed like Tycoon.  My brother is better looking than me but my boys are the studly ones!   (lol)

Thanks for the input.  Do you think that he would work well with the cow I have in the what bull post?  Do you think him or gigolo joe would be better?  thanks.

IMO, Tycoon would be the better bull!  I like both bulls and their both on my short list!  Are you looking for calving ease,  a replacement female, a steer prospect or a combination of both?  I personally would use Joe for the first two and Tycoon for the latter?!  Maybe I'm wrong but Tycoon for me is the one I've been looking for to be the Steer sire to come close to HW but not give the Wife trouble calving when I'm out at the Classic goofing off!  (lol)  Moderate BW but still give me the look!

Below is one of the heifers that I was talking about that is out of Tycoon (This Is what I was told)  Not sure of the cow but this heifer has been doing quite a bit of good around here!  I really like this female!

Hope this helps!

Tony

Dusty, We don't do it enough any more with the convenience of the internet  but I would suggest to call the owner.  With the unique circumstances that this popular bull was just sold in the prime of his promotion, the new owners should be a great source of information.  Knowing the type of cattle that Randy Bellar has represented in the past,  I am confident that He did plenty of research before he paid $ 40,000 plus for the bull this year in Denver.  From what I know of him, a nice guy and he will give you the answers your looking for!

Just a thought!

Tony
