nice calf

Do you think Walks Alone clicks with shorthorns? I have seen so many good walks alone calves this year.

All the pure bred shorthorn steers I've seen or raised just didn't have the power from behind to compete at the Texas majors.  This bull looks to have about 50% SH and 50% Maine from behind which I think will work out perfect for what I wanna do with him.

Wish I knew of a SH bull that would add the power needed to compete in slick sheer shows.  Is there one out there?

Newton, I would not breed WA to a small framed cow unless you looking for a good lite weight calve.  Mine has a frame score of around 6-7 and I think the calve will turn out fine.

Shorti, he came unassisted around 75-80lbs

Blackdiamond, love the hip on that calve.
