Had a Bad Moon Rising female that we culled last year. Tempermant was horrible. First calf was c-section about 98#'s on calving ease bull. Second and third calf were hard pulls. She milked great but was harder than hell to get started. She would have so much milk that she wouldn't let her calf nurse. We always had to get the calf started on her. She was hairy and moderate size. She put some bone in her calves.
I have one Warhorse cow and she is going into receip program. She could carry an elephant and is large as one. Warhorse on older maine genetics. She had a 125#er out of Gizmo.  Warhorse was all the rage before TH PH. A popular cross in our neck of the woods was Heat Seeker x warhorse. They would be hairy and stout. I haven't seen any in a while. Most of the Warhorse cattle I saw were more moderate framed as well.
