How cold is too cold to wash my calves on an outdoor was rack? Any ideas to keep them clean while I cant wash them?

On a sunny day I've washed in an outdoor as cold as 25F, there may be a few icicles but as long as you can get inside to blow em they take it pretty well. Keeping them clean if you can't wash - bedding, bedding, bedding.

We just keep them in a dry lot with a calving shed for shelter

I would want to go below freezing. The best solution would be to do in a barn but if outside make sure you are out of the wind.
