What do you look for when pick your HEREFORD 'club calf'

Well The neighbor guy called and said he just weaned his 2 calves.
One is out of a hereford sire and simmi x herf dam born May 4th
the other is PB hereford. April 28th
The sire is very friendly so are their parents. He's going to give me a pretty good deal. They are both really hairy! and Stout.

First pic is Their sire. 2nd is one of their parents; I forgot which): 3rd Pic is the calves. PB hereford on the left and Cross on the right. The one on the right is a little taller and leaner.

It may just be the angle she is standing at, but the cow's hind leg set is something to think about.  Her calf may be fine on the back wheels, but if it anything like her, you might want to be careful as the calf gets older.

:) she just got up when we got there.  her calf is the one thats the simmi hereford cross...So he'll be my 2nd pick out of the 2. hes leaner i'll take more pics:) this weekend
