Wondering what you think of our county fair steer this year.
I never knew how hard it was to take a good photo of cattle. He did not cooperate to well!

Looks like you have a pretty good steer on your hands. I love his depth of body and easy feeding build. If i would change him i would add muscle throughout his top and into his quarter. It looks like he may be alittle straight out of his shoulder so he make sure he gets lots of exercise :). Overall he is good steer and should do very well for you at your county.

This weekend is our show.

I too would like to change his depth of quarter. Otherwise I think he should compete well. Our steer show is pretty tough though!

Well our steer did well at the county show this past weekend. He was 3rd overall steer. We are very pleased I had a number of people come up to me and ask about steer calves for next year.

I agree.  Looks good, but I would make sure he gets plenty of excercise before showdays and try and hook that naval when showing him to bring the center of his top up nice and full.  Glad to hear he's doing well for you.
