I sure like pacesetter calves, he adds tons of bone. But, if you want more muscle and have enough gut I would use Macho. Make sure she has a good front end though.  Our Macho half blood (quarter Angus and quarter Maine) did real good last year, but she did lack femininity that many judges like. I have been told they make good cows, we won't know until the fall when she calves.  :)

We have done very welll with Trademark.  Both his bull and heifer calves are valuable.  We have sold seveal as show heifers and they have done well.  Also, the Trademark cows in production have nice udders and adequate milk.

I saw about 20 out of straight simmi and simangus cows.  Many out of first calf heifers.  Nice calves and very clean fronted for a full simi bull.  I understand they calved easy.  I have 10 units to play and 10 of Backlash now it the great debate of which cow gets which.  ::)
