I have a really nice registerd angus cows
She's out of ext and has a good front and super deep body with moderate width.
we've kept all of her heifer calves in our herd and her only bull calf is getting kept as a bulll!
I would like to breed her to keep back heifers
Would like her babies to be real good high marketable clubcallf mommas.
She can go a million differnet ways. registerd, simmental, clubby

Looking for some ideas

I would add Chill Factor, Irish Whiskey, and OCC angus ( Just Right, legend, anchor, emblazon) to the list as well.

Nutt N' Butt works really well on EXT females to make heifers.  They are pretty hard to beat as cows.

If I was going to put out the money for a flush I recommend something that has already worked well with your cow.

how well do the nutt n butt females milk?

The milk well.  They make great mama cows.  They also cross pretty with heatwave bloodlines too.

yes that is the bull.  I personally dont have any experience with this cross but a good friend of mine swears by it.  You can go to his website on showsteers and then JBR club calves, go under the winners and the heifer that won the kentucy state fair and beef expo is a heat wave out of his nutt n butt/ext cow.  That nnb/ext cow of his is a good rip!  Maybe I can get him to chim in on here and let you know about the nnb/ext cross.

Seems to me the market really likes the Meyer/angus genetics for momma's. IF you can't afford the meyer semen, then I would go with 3C Macho or another simmi sire. Macho is not gonna add a ton of bone or hair but he will make them pretty. They make great momma's. If you can locate a couple straws of Meyer then go for it. I have not had personal experience but have seen some good one's out of SOS and 3C Picasso. There are a few Simmi folks on here that could steer you in the right direction as well.

was worried the simmy angus(macho/picasso) wouldnt have enough of that show rign appeal not enough hair or or square ness or enough power(bone and muscle)....... and sos would make the calves 3/4 angus.... lacking power with a tough more comercialy front and tail head set

The cow is half of the equation. One of our steers this year is a Heat Wave x Meyer/Angus and believe me plenty of bone and muslce. But in our area they seem to be moving away from extremely muscled and freaks of nature. THe calves I have seen winning have been sounder and more balanced. If you trying to get females the Simmi x Angus would definitely give you a good base to add the club bulls to them. I used Macho on WMW x Angus cow. Plenty of bone baldy heifer and great top more than adequate muscle. She wll make a great cow. If you walk through some of the pastures in Iowa there are quiet a few of those Meyer Angus cows running in quiet a few "big name" club calf deals.

make sure she is pretty small if you are going to use carney man...  they can get too big if not used on small cows..  he wont add any depth either.  He will add spring of rib but not depth..
