Was rummaging around the tack room and found our set of Lister Star clippers again.  Tried to clip heads on cattle one time and the stock blade was what we used on lambs and just took the hair down too tight for clipping heads.  I know there are several blades that fit Lister clippers and am wondering if any of those blades work for clipping heads.  The clippers are nice for size and weight as opposed to the big noisy flatheads for roughing out dirty cattle, so would like to find a use for them.

If you re just roughing out and the cattle are dirty get a texas cattle comb/ show comb for sheep heads its get it close then gover it with your listers. We ve found the listers dont like the thick dirty hair. Hope this helps!
