I've always wondered why revamp wasn't more popular. The bottom bull has been posted on here before. Someone will chime in soon.

Have had Revamp calves years ago. Never helped any other than one backwards and it came out easy too. Then they grew well. Nothing to blow your socks off just good calves.

I do not know who the second bull is but the picture sure does remind me of this picture of IDS Duke of Dublin.

That's not same bull.

I did not say they were the same bull Ryan just that I found the pictures to be quite similar with regards to pose and background and even the dirty back end.  I said I did not know who the bull in the original picture was.

The way I read it, I thought you were suggesting it was the same bull.

Suppose to be not the same bull. But is very very similar. The white heart mark on front is the difference, but as on the first pic he is so hairy, could be a way for mistakes.
But is very very similar I'm sure. Maybe same bloodline due type.

Yes, they are photos of two different animals.
The second photo does however illustrate what the first bull would have looked like from a different vantage point. In real form he isn't nearly as extreme.
The photographer is on the ground. That will narrow down the decade of your search!

Correct Garybob.  Bottom bull is definitely a Brentwood bull. Picture was used in some shorthorn promotional literature in the 90's. I think Ingress sold in the Iowa Beef Expo. Out of Rodeo Inovator. There's a history lesson for folks.

The top one is K-Kim Revamp.  Not sure on the other.
If my sale string bulls were carbon copies of Revamp, I would be in the money!/// Unfortunately-he never really produced much-he just didnt breed like he looked-I followed K-Kim for years because I really admired the program- Kevin Kimmerling helped put Sullivan and some other people on the map-and produced alot of usefull real world cattle like Backenhus-but niether outfit got the financial credit they deserved-so they moved on to other types of cattle O0
