this dude is raised by us (purple pride), he is out of our sim angus bull prime time (draftpick x profit maker) and a 3/4 brahman and 1/4 gert cow. let me know what you think about him. he is for sale as well but that can be discussed at a later time. i understand he may not class brahman but he will change alot down the road and i just would like some feed back, be aware i know he has no hair and he has a trashey neck. he is an american calf. all thoughts appreciated

He is out of a bull named butterball.  I have been told by several people that he throws good american calves.  Havent seen any though.  Just an experiment for us. I believe he did good in ok a few years back.  if anyone else knows of the bull and has any info it would be appriciated.

she is not near as powerful as some of the half brahman cattle i have seen. in terms of bone and muscle. but a functional type of heifer. the steer. . . well not sure where to start he is going to be a beast of nature in the future with that bone and fliar. two nice calves though, even though the post was somewhat hijacked with the brahman heifer (you would get more feedback on her if she had her own post imo)

What do you think of this steer... what should he class as?  He's out of a Simbrah cow and the old Shamrock sire (one of his sons--Maine/cross I think)

first pic about June 09

last pic  Sept 09

don't have recent pic but having heck getting him finished?  not sure how's he gonna end up....  comments

I'd class him simbrah if he was mine. Just to tight and clean interms of skin and sheath to go Brahman, if they did like hiefers and made a simbranveih breed. he would be a prime example

The yellow steer is a good steer with a lot of good qualities. But in my opinion if the red steer was weighing 900-1000 lbs like the yellow steer. The red steer would win. But your yellow steer is already to 900-1000 lbs so there is no guessing and he is good. The red steer, we have to guess because he looks like he weighs 300-400 lbs.
