The Winter is when it's so easy.  Rinse twice daily and wear out your Rice Root Brush.  Don't forget to brush in your favorite conditioner after each rinse(while wet).

How harsh are your winters? The winter regimen for here in Wisconsin i would imagine is way different than down in OK or TX. Even more so if you dont have a heated show barn.

last winter my daughter was getting a heifer ready for Pa Farm show it is jan 5 thru 18 or so. she rinsed every day untill the water froze on the floor. then she just blew her out each day. she got right up to two weeks out. we had several bad spells as long as its safe the calves do fine just get them blown really dry before you put them away.

It gets really cold out here in my neck of the woods in PA. Just bottle feeding my dairy beef steers the bottles froze...lol I cant wait to see how its gunna be washing a steer in the middle of winter....we live on an open field with no wind break and near the road. I just wonder how many people are going to call the spca when they see me washin my steer in the middle of winter ;D Def gunna have to get a blower at the farm show.

What i did when i showed was rinse when a day got warm enough to do it, then the other days i would spray him kleen sheen and just blow and blow and blow. keeps the skin and hair clean and moisturized and helps get rid of the dead skin the accumulates.

Sullivans has a no rinse shampoo.  We have a bottle but have not tried it yet.  We are in MN and we had our first blizzard already.  Do you have any info on the winter show John Deere.  Maybe a show we would consider as we are close to the SD and ND border.  We are actually attempting to get to the North Star Classic in Valley City this year as we do not have to have the whole herd tested.
