What kind of cows does he work best on ? Thinking about using him on a 1/2 Char 1/2 Shorty as well as others ..... ???

I just had one out of a warhorse x angus cow. tons of hair and bone. also seen him work real well on heatwave and whiskey bloodlines.

YJ throws calves that really heavy muscled, long, big boned, and just big in general.  I like those kind of calves, but most are too big for most judges.

The only way to get good steers is to use him on smaller framed black carrier cows.

If you want females, what you are talking about can work.  There is a good chance YJ cows are going to be very valuable.

How does YJ and Troubadour breed differently and the same, would like to use one but want to see what your thoughts are what they work best on, thanks. Oh and if anyone has or has seen mature pics would like to see or hear about, thanks.

I've used both Troubadour and YJ on a donor cow , the YJ were 85-90 lbs , the Troubadours were 65-70 lbs .
