Wondering what everyone is doing for Thanksgiving? Also do you have any special family traditions?

Since it's just going to be the hubby & myself w/ my parents we're going to the dining hall at their retirement village. They have all the fixing plus some of the best shrimp cocktails (all you can eat too).

I still dont know what I am doing yet for Thanksgiving.  Normally we all go to my aunts, but she still hasn't said anything about it yet this year.

I just got home from my Thanksgiving. My wife and I took our honeymoon to Puerto Vallarta, Mexico last week, so we spent Thanksgiving sitting by the ocean getting a nice tan :)

Now it's time to be brave and get those Denver calves ready!  Congrats, by the way!

I tried to convince her that going to Denver would be an extra special honeymoon. Early mornings together in the wash rack, nights in the yard bar....sounds like bliss to me. She said she's been around me on show day and wants to make sure we're still married when we get home :)

I got home last night and it was 30 degrees this morning when I went out to feed. She reminded me on the way to church this morning that it was 50 degrees warmer where we were. It's a tough life, but I'm honestly happy to be home. I was starting to miss my girls by Thursday.

I should have taken a picture though. I was reviewing Simmental and Angus pedigrees and reading Lautners catalog with a Margarita in one hand under a beach umbrella....
