I was thinking about trying it for the first time, what size calf should I have?
Steers to be born on or after Jan. 1, 2009
Heifers to be born on or after Sept. 1, 2008

how many can I bring?
As many as you like.

what are the classes and what are they like?

They offer breed classes for the heifers. They will need to have 5 or more in a class to receive a class premium.
Usually they don’t offer breed classes for steers.
The show ring is very nice, recently built wash rack and we have plenty of barn space.
As with any show the electric can be challenging so bring a backup generator to be safe.
(Plenty of electric if you tie out to your trailer in the campgrounds).
The show size fluctuates from year to year but usually its around 100 head with about 30% of those being Ross County 4-Hers.

If I'm freed up on that day, I'll go watch. not taking anything. Heard from Rusty the other day that Scioto County is putting on a show in April too.
