I believe its in Winter Haven or close to that. It is open to anyone in the state of Fl.

Who won? How were the prices?

the prices stunk. Grand went for $2.50 lb and reserve was $1.75 lb the average was 1.00 lb
Grand was Sarah Richard, she went to a few prospect shows and was usually grand or reserve.
Reserve was Kalynn Brewer

How did you do? Those prices do stink but I think with the economy we will see a lot of  low prices. How many steers did they have? Sarah is Russel Harwell's neice right?

I got 2nd to my BEST FRIEND  who i actually picked her steer out.
yes we all believe its b/c of the economy.
there was 30 steers that made it.

He looked good!! How much did he weigh? Congrats on a job well done!!  (clapping)  Are you going to show there again next year?

mine weighted really 1250-1260 we shrunk him to 1210lbs
were not sure if they are going to have a show next year and no i'm going to just get a heifer

thanks ya i thought he was the better calf the only thing about the black calf is that he has a little bit more muscle than mine.
I got his hide today as we are getting it tanned and made into a rug as he had sooooo much hair.
The butcher said he was select choice beef so i was excited my one goal was hit!!!!!!!!
