Here is a solid gold steer I showed at my county last year and did pretty good, got 8th overall. He had decent hair as a baby but did have much after he shed it all, but I also didn't work with it.

I always use the mousse at the little jackpot shows. Really helps make them look good at shows you don't feel like having to wash adhesive and paint out of hair (clapping)

We use explosion and it works good but I've heard the stopped selling it too. Not really sure if it's true.

I had a BIM and he was never mean or crazy. He was a little stubborn and got lazy but nothing bad.
