We did it with one we thought might have twins. We had no issue and the vet had no qualms about doing it. She was a little over 7 months.

Well fed animals that are structurally poor, unsound moving and poor converters of feed are just well fed culls. Choosing the right animal(s) to pass on desirable genetics will always get you further in the end.

FYI- We had the reserve Grand Bull at the American Royal last fall that happened to be a solid red PB Maine Bull. We have his half sister and full brother (et)  ready for Junior Nationals in a week. They are solid red too. We have had a ton of interest in our red calves.

He is DRCC Xavier, he is a son of their bull Wild Turkey and one of their 1/2 blood cows which goes back to old school stuff on the DAM side. His registration number 407473.

They would not arrest the kids, they would arrest the organizers. If the folks that host and organize these are at risk, then they wont have the shows. From reading the proposed rule change they would also go against the parents or other responsible adult if they felt there was a violation...

Check this sale out, as every lots has a great calf or great genetics to offer. It is hard to decide where to start.
