    guyer sale

    Very awesome steer would love to have him in my barn. I'm a  lil curious though, if I'm not mistaken, vickland's sold the same calf in September for $15000! Guyer/Bonham sure got their ($$$ ) mark up on him @$51000.

    Putting finish on a steer

    As rackranch said you need to switch to a finisher, and add some corn as well! We added Glu-coat last year to both of our steers rations of finisher and corn, we believed it helped.If or when you switch his ration up I would do it subtly and ease him into to it, so he's less likely to go off...

    eyes on the money

    My family had two eyes on the money  steers  last year that we showed and they were the most whacked out, looney, kicking, unsettled calves I've ever been apart of. They had the looks and won reserve champion @ our county with one of the  but we played hell feeding them and getting them too...

    Georgia National Market Steer Results?

    Did anyone actually see the  show and know what calves looked good...? I heard the Mobley's won with their white steer from Jerrod Arthur!

    Opinions on Steer!

    He looks good, very impressed. My only question is how is his structure? I personally seen this calf earlier in the year at a prosepct show and his rear wheels had some issues, full of fluid and couldn't walk correctly. Did you get this taken care of?

    Did anyone see the prospect steer sale @ the Denver stock show ? Which ones looked good and how much did they go for?  I heard sidwell's had some real nice animals.
