I didn't mean to sound rude its just that I did take her to fair as a market heifer but then couldn't put her on the truck because I saw too much potential in her to become hamburger. So yes she did have extra weight on her than most people would like for a breeding heifer.

I actually had a calf that his mom died having him so I bottle fed him and showed him as a beef feeder and got last in both classes but then he got grand champion at the fair. So it can turn out for the better.

I boughth a heifer this year for $400 from a local breeder and showeed her at a show with some pretty good competition and got fourth out of thirteen.and found out later that i placed infront of a $5000 dollar calf. Not trying to brag just saying that it happens. ::)
