What is DSH? I think you meant DSF? What I was told is it is the same, if a carrier and a non-carrier are mated, there is 0% chance of a defective calf, if two carriers are bred, then it's 25% chance the calf is clean, 50% chance the calf is a carrier, and 25% chance the calf is defective...
