My daughter decided she would like to show a market lamb at our county fair in September. I showed lambs 30+ years ago but I'm sure a lot has changed. What are some basics we need to know and what is a good feeding strategy?

Yes we have a heifer by him.  Really nice butterscotch color heifer out of a uncle kracke 1st calf heifer.  She had it unassisted no complications.  I'll try and get a pic.  We are going to use him again
