Does anyone have any ideas what this could be caused from? I've had crooked calves at birth before, but nothing this extreme before. She is getting around ok, but doesn't seem to be straightening up much like other calves I've had. Genetic defect or just cramped baby? Thanks

Kinda late to the show, but don't give up on her. Maybe try splinting her leg into a straight position using a pvc pipe cut lengthwise. They usually will come out of it rather quickly and you'll probably never know she had a problem. Good luck.

For those of you who raise club calves, this question is for you.  Do you have a cut off that you consider a cow too small to produce club calves?  I have a few heifers that never got very big, and I wasn't sure if its worth the time to breed them.  One is a General Lee out of an Irishman...
