I don't know if hes producing yet, but I really liked the BPF Angus bull Timbercreek (I think that's his name) I talked to Cory with them and he said that bull is the real deal. Hes free of the angus defects to boot. Only thing is prob not a bull to use on heifers.
I also liked the Angus Bull from Bushy Park. I am trying to decide what I am going to try him on this spring. My Angus or Simmentals or both. Any suggestions.
I agree with you on #4 and 18. Id show them.
And I've bought breds from them every fall out of this sale. I like knowing I can trust the genetics and raise my own herd genetics every year.
Has anyone else seen the new catalog for their sale next week? What are some of you guys picks? I usually like to stay with the Simmys only so I'll have a good momma cow after showing. But there are some good lookin clubbys I really like.
I got a chance to drive over to Marietta yesterday and check out their calves in person. I was really impressed with them. Their pics looked good in the catalog but they were even better in person. Cory and his guys were really helpful with us even though I know they had a lot to do to get their...
I got to go check out the Bushy Park calves yesterday and Wow! I was really impressed at how many quality heifers they had. They always do, but the ones that I had checked in my catalog to look at looked even better now. Usually once my top 2-3 go for more than im willing to spend Im usually out...
You need to look at Bushy Park Farms website. They will have their annual summer and fall born heifer sale in Marietta, OK this Saturday. Their heifers are top of the line nationally. Their catalog is on their website. I'm going over there Friday to check them out before the sale. Always impressed.
I'll be pulling a trailer to Mitchell, SD to the Bushy Park Farm Sale on Oct 24th and heading back on the 27th. If anybody needs a ride for their cattle either way let me know.
