Here’s an updated picture of Guardsman 8G. He is definitely getting a more mature look to him. His first calf crop is looking quite powerful. Hopefully he can see a show this fall.

We have had very good luck splitting amps. Our tech’s have always used a syringe and a pipette on ampules. If the semen isn’t rare we do use the whole amp for a cow though.

I’m lucky that one of my tanks has a booklet zip tied to it that has its contents. The 40+ year old tank is a mystery every time a canister gets pulled up. It creates interesting “on the fly” changes in AI. Haha. Although I do like the booklet because it can be adjusted/updated as soon as...
I can speak of the herds which I know Personally that have animals consigned and they always bring very good animals to represent their herds with solid breeding programs.
