    simsolution bull

Your not wrong at all. But without seeing my heifer you cannot get a feel for what she would work with and how she would do. I am looking for something a little more clubby to add bone and cleanliness of neck. There are not many purebred simmis that can add this with being calving ease as well...

Exactly my point! Crossbreds are the kings of the show world and now they are being known as "mongrels"? And you are completely right, i was asking for positive feedback, not criticism! Thanks for your support ALTSIMMY, Gargan, and Leanbeef!!!!

I completely understand what you are saying. However, my heifer is a three way cross, she does not include simmental. She also is NOT a club calf. She is thick made and a great mother, and i think this has to do with the fact that she is over 80% angus. i know her exact pedigree and she contains...

    simsolution bull

First off, crossing something isn't "mongrelizing" it. I am not familiar with the ASA because i do not want any purebred or registered simmentals. If you read my description, i am looking for something more clubby which is quite obvious from the requests. Just by breeding this heifer to even a...

    BULL TO ADD POWER

i honestly would try to stay away from the heatwave lines. That takes away all the previously stated options. I'd go Bojo, or possibly alias or texas twister. I feel like a charlois could work well for her to add power. I personally really like uno mas although many others probably don't.

First off, to answer your third question, my heifer is not purebred (obviously). She has a bit of maine and chi in her. Secondly, the EPDs would have to be based off of SOMETHING and lastly, where did you get the idea that i think simangus cattle are thick topped? i'm pretty sure i did not say...

    simsolution bull

I have an angus based cow that i would like to breed for her second calve. I would like something that has clubby style but has the thickness of a simangus. I need to clean up her front. I was thinking as my choices from 1 to 3: 1. Hara's Real Steel 2. KLS Hlafblood 3. JF Foundation I would...

    I-80 vs. Grizzly

I have a second calving heifer that i need to breed. She is very maternal: she is at least 75% angus with a touch of maine and a little dash of chi. She has angus maternal traits however she has alot more power than an average angus cow. She has too thick of a front end for me, id really like to...

    Opinion on heifer

You've pretty much put the whole point of showing cattle in one statement. Besides making new friends, learning is the entire point! Well said!

    Opinion on heifer

Many people have different opinions. I usually clip the head first to get an idea where i want the neck to go, which leads to the topline, which leads to the tailhead, and so forth. However, my cousin clips the head last as well and she is very good at clipping. Different strokes for different...

    Opinion on heifer

Haha I know! I usually clip their heads first too. But my cousin is borrowing my chute for a few weeks so i had nothing to work with and she is still not that tame. Thanks for your opinion! :)

    angus

Theyve came out with quite a few "clubby" angus bulls this past year. But some of the best show cattle from purebred angus have been out of Northern Improvement. He may not be readily available anymore, but there are a lot of sons out of him that may do the trick! goodluck! :)

    Opinion on heifer

I don't want an opinion that matches mine. But if you read the previous comments, it states her definite features. For example: SHE IS 100% SOUND. secondly: SHE IS FEMININE. You do not need to second guess these definite features and I am not looking for an opinion that questions FACT. I do...

    Opinion on heifer

Also, i would like any opinions on breeding her. I was thinking to eventually breed her to Believe in Me to knock her down a frame size and stouten her up. Thanks guys!

    Opinion on heifer

Her feet do not turn out one bit. I already stated that she is 100% sound. Pictures are hard to see from, and i understand that. But if i am asking for opinions OTHER than her soundness (which I  know is perfect) i would appreciate that opinion. Thank you!! If i get a better picture i will post it.
