Wanted to share a couple of pictures from our new arrival this morning. This is a Harlem Shake calf out of a 3027 X Yankee cow. 94 pound BW but was delivered unassisted and he was up and nursing with in 30 minutes.

I had 5 in my 2013 calf crop, 3 steers and 2 heifers, none of them had a real attitude problem. All 3 of the steer were shown and competitive. We were happy with everything except hair, good frame, power and structure. 1 of the 3 steers went on to be reserve champion bred and fed at our county fair.

I have had very good luck with my matings up until this past year, I had several BIM's this past year and holy cow did I get a lesson. I will say that after we had them haltered 3 times they started to settle down and now do very well but those first few days were interesting. I would like to...

I don't know about the specific feed that you have but how many bags of sweet feed have been sold for horses and cattle? I don't see why it would be a problem, the only thing I would even question would be the selenium. I don't know how many bags you have but the least you could do is mix it...
