Thanks for your comments. A few points I had not noticed on the bull and hoping with some more feed he might smooth out some more.

I usually put a few pics up at this time of the year for comment. Shows are two months out and the cattle are still pretty green but are eating well. Both are 16 months the hfr is by Ironstone and the Bull by an Aussie Sire Dylemma Radar. <beer>

    My kids first project

Greyhounds really feel the cold and it is winter. She is the most placid and lazy dog I have ever had lays around and sleeps all day. Unless it sees a rabbit or a wallaby then it is very quick.

    cattle prod

Well it is great to see some bickering back on SP again even if it is over something as trivial as this. A hot shot as Jeff is getting at is a tool when used in the right hands on a small % of cattle has a real place. The trouble with hot shots is many people instead of proding the 1 or 2 in 100...

New Angus Ads (no need for crossbreeding)

Mill Iron A just because grass fed does not work where you live does not mean it is not efficient in other parts of the world. We can grow grass easily and cheaply we use high performance cattle that grow and gain quickly on grass the grows nearly year round. Interestingly the packer I buy for...

Picture of my new Steer project

Mark and Telos thanks for comments. Mark to answer your question as far as steer comps most are terminal so blowing yes, fans some, cool rooms no. In stud shows some of your trends are followed but still cattle I would say have a more natural look.
