    interchangeable blades?

I only use them a couple times a year for shearing steers. I've always had good luck with them and they'll cut through just about anything you can throw at them. Andis does make a handful of blades that will fit them, but Andis' mainly makes blades geared towards small clippers. On that same...

Show cattle operation ideas would like input on this idea

I like your idea! Do you want to raise purebred breeding cattle or market cattle? If your wanting to go market you'll want to have a lot of clubby crossbred stuff in your heard. If your wanting to go purebred, it depends on the breed. They all have their good bloodlines.

    holding a breeding heifer

How do you define hold? I think of holding as holding them at a certain weight for a show, but breeding heifers show by age so I'm not sure why you would want to hold her weight. If she's getting too framy, too fat, or if she's bred and gonna calve in a few months then there are different...

    Hudson Pines Farm

I've never been to their place but I've seen the cattle they have and I've seen how much they go for. They have a great set of cattle, but your buying a brand when you buy from them. You'll get a good calf nonetheless, but you'll pay a little more than it's worth.

    Vita ferm???

Your not far away...I live in Longview. I'm originally from a small town an hour north of here and the closest place for us was in Cookville which is a little town east of Mt. Pleasant. According to the vita ferm website though there's a guy in Kilgore that carries it.

COOL MONOPOLY X ANGUS HEIFER FOR SALE

They should take down listings that don't include a price IMO. If your confident in how you price your cattle why would you not put the price up publicly?

    lighting up a chute

I'm working on putting LED light bars in the trim chute bars. We're still trying to work out the details, but hopefully we can get it built in time for show season.

    glue remover

I only use WD40 as a last resort. It works, but it is HORRIBLE for their skin and hair. If you must use it make sure you don't let it sit very long and wash and condition very good.

    New purchase

I'm not too concerned with his neck personally. It won't hurt, but it won't help much either. What I don't like is his brisket and a sweat collar won't help that.

    New purchase

You've got a good calf. I love his hip, and his bone is adequate. I would like to see a little more depth of rib, stretch his front end out just a touch, and clean up his brisket. Nonetheless he will still be very competitive.
