    Covering Aluminum Chute Side rails

Why not use vet wrap? It's only about a dollar a roll. It usually takes a roll per bar, and it'll last all show season.

You also can't miss a day. Especially in this heat.

How would this work as a cool room?

First off, having a cooler won't make growing hair easier. They will grow more hair, but it's going to require more work than what you do now. You can't just throw one in the cooler and forget about it. Secondly that won't work. If your going to build your own which is becoming more popular...

    Covering Aluminum Chute Side rails

I believe it was Sullivan's that was selling them with powder-coated side rails at Ft. Worth this year. Seems like it would work fine. I've always used vet wrap, and it seems to hold up pretty good.

    cooler room?

I was going to build a set up with a Coolbot a while back, and I priced it all out and it was only going to cost a few thousand dollars to do.

    Heifer throws head---maybe halter problem?

I'm assuming your talking about a Johnson halter. I love those! I worked for a guy last fall, and we broke 25 brahman calves with them and never had problem with them rubbing. We would leave them on 24/7 until they were broke enough that we could catch them with a rope halter. If you are using a...

    March 2010 heifer. Thoughts?

B is the point of the shoulder. I always look from A to B, and from B to C(Top of the shoulder). In this case I would like to see C pulled a little farther back, and A if you want to get really picky with her.

    Fall/Winter Simmi Sales?

Check out ebersale.com and parkelivestock.com. They probably handle 90% of all the simmental sales you'll hear about.

Where are the Fat Butt calves ???

It's still a little early to see them IMO. Their out there, but I don't think you'll see a lot of them until the fall.

    March 2010 heifer. Thoughts?

She looks like she might be a little straight in the shoulder, but it could just be the angle the picture was taken. It's kinda hard to tell. Other than that though, I like her.

    Needed: pictures for livestock judging

judging101.com It's $45/annually, but it is worth every single dollar. If covers cattle, pigs, lambs, goats, and horses. Several classes of each with uniform pictures, and has placings, cuts, and reasons.

    hair

I wouldn't go. You run the risk of them getting sick and falling off feed.

22 days till fair and were freakin

Something isn't right with him. I have no idea what it could be, that probiotics wouldn't fix. I would maybe get another vet out and get a second opinion.

    too big

That's a lot of weight to get off of him without completely starving him. When you last weighed him was he empty or full? Remember water weighs 8 lbs/gallon so that gives you a lot to play with.
