    used blowers

I bought one about 1 1/2 years ago and its still going.  It doesn't get heavy use because we don't show alot.  But, I dont see any reason it'll die before my old circuiteer II will.  Sullivans had replaced the power cord on it before they sold it.

    Connealy Impression

Anybody using this Angus bull?  We bought a heifer in the Monarch Farms dispersal that was bred to him.  I really like the calf, but he's the only Impression I've seen.

    Simmy Bull Uno Mas

I'm not really familiar with Simmental bloodlines...so, why do you say this?

    Simmy Bull Uno Mas

Select Sires carries him.  I believe Purdue is one of the owners.

    Simmy Bull Uno Mas

Does anyone have any calves on the ground or seen any calves by the Simmy bull Uno Mas?  I was talking with my Select Sires rep about him the other day.  I'm not a simmy breeder but I was thinking of trying him on a few Angus cows.

Feeding a commercial calf to show quality questions ????

The county fair here is the first week of August too.  Most kids show a March or April born steer and they finish just fine (some have even finished May steers for the show).  When you get the amount and type of feed right yours should finish just fine.  Oh, and Kleen Sheen is one of my favorite...

    New Shorthorn reg. papers

When I got my papers on the heifer we bought at Agribition, I thought she had some kind of "special" papers at first. (lol)  But, then I realized they were the same as my others--just reformatted.  Any idea why they made the change?

Quotes your vet just loves to hear:

Vet -- "do you have the cow caught?" Owner -- "Yes" What the vet meant -- Is the cow in a pen with a squeeze chute? What the owner meant -- I got her out of the 100 acre pasture.  She's in a 5 acre lot now.

    National Stock Shows

I've been to most of them (at least as a spectator).  I always tell people that I think the most impressive are Denver and NAILE.  I've shown at the NAILE, and I suspect as others have said, they are all the same as far as the work getting ready.  But, if you can't get to Denver then I vote for...

    Spring calves

Thanks.  They are grazing winter wheat right now.  The main pasture has really greened up and taken off this past week too.

    Spring calves

I really like the CC&7 too.  I've got a Hoover Dam bull calf out of a 21AR Roundup heifer.  Both Hoover Dam calves are out of bred heifers we bought at the Monarch Farms dispersal.  The heifer's BW was 73 lb and the bull's was 76 lb.  I  like the looks of both of them so far and they are growing...
