I bought one about 1 1/2 years ago and its still going. It doesn't get heavy use because we don't show alot. But, I dont see any reason it'll die before my old circuiteer II will. Sullivans had replaced the power cord on it before they sold it.
Anybody using this Angus bull? We bought a heifer in the Monarch Farms dispersal that was bred to him. I really like the calf, but he's the only Impression I've seen.
Here is a link to the Priefert website. If you look on the list there is a link to the operation of a model 91 headgate (HG 91). http://priefert.com/Resources.aspx
You might contact priefert for a model specific manual.
Does anyone have any calves on the ground or seen any calves by the Simmy bull Uno Mas? I was talking with my Select Sires rep about him the other day. I'm not a simmy breeder but I was thinking of trying him on a few Angus cows.
The county fair here is the first week of August too. Most kids show a March or April born steer and they finish just fine (some have even finished May steers for the show). When you get the amount and type of feed right yours should finish just fine. Oh, and Kleen Sheen is one of my favorite...

Owner -- "Yes"
What the vet meant -- Is the cow in a pen with a squeeze chute?
What the owner meant -- I got her out of the 100 acre pasture. She's in a 5 acre lot now.
I've been to most of them (at least as a spectator). I always tell people that I think the most impressive are Denver and NAILE. I've shown at the NAILE, and I suspect as others have said, they are all the same as far as the work getting ready. But, if you can't get to Denver then I vote for...

I really like the CC&7 too. I've got a Hoover Dam bull calf out of a 21AR Roundup heifer. Both Hoover Dam calves are out of bred heifers we bought at the Monarch Farms dispersal. The heifer's BW was 73 lb and the bull's was 76 lb. I like the looks of both of them so far and they are growing...
