The thing that annoys me the most at County Fairs is when judges place the class on eye contact.  What good does watching the judge the most do if the calf is standing there not set up?  I'd rather the calf be presented to the judge then the exhibitor staring down the judge.

What made the decision for you between Wilson and Eby.  I'm getting ready to order, and it's down to these choices as well.  Can't decide for sure what I want to do.

She's pretty green.  Toss some feed to her and see what happens.  Honestly for my kids I was more worried about a really quiet critter for them to start out with then winning everything out of the gate.

This calf just doesn't read bull to me.  Maybe it's the breed, but I like a bull to look masculine, not feminine.

I tend to see their kids showing purchased animals more then their own, maybe that's just me though.

I'm in awe of anyone with white cattle, and is able to keep them so white and clean.  Anything with white around here always lays in crap.

She doesn't look very powerful.  I agree with the above, she needs to be heavier.  The first calf will suck the life out of her.

In the future, maybe a written contract signed by buyer and seller would help.  Of course with a written contract you would have to make sure you are holding up to your end of things as well.
