John Deere 757 zero turn commercial mower, LOVE IT. I also mow for our landlady, she has a john deere riding tractor that I hate. Would probably like it if I didn't have the zero turn. Where the zeroturn would take about two hours to mow the tractor takes about 5 hours.
Yes start about two months earlier, at least. I wouldn't trust an 18 day broke calf with a 10 year old at a show, I don't care how laid back the calf is
Be very, very careful with roundup. If a cow eats roundup while it is freshly sprayed, during the first trimester of pregnancy the calf can be born without eyes. True story, my sister has a cow that had a calf born missing its eyes. After looking on the internet I asked if the cow had ate any...
We don't live at the farm where the rat problem is, we used to and our dog kept the rats in check. We moved to a different farm in March and the dog moved with us and that is when the rats went nuts without Violet the vermin killer living there.
Currently mine is killing rats. The neighbor was a pig and used to let his grain bins overflow when he filled them and didn't clean them up. He sold them so guess where the rats went, that is right, MY BARN!!
Any good suggestions? We could shoot them if we had a pellet gun, the BB gun just...
Wow, I finally did something PETA would be happy with me about! I fed a bunch of flies a dead rat that I poisoned and then shot. Oh, wait a minute, they might be upset about the dead rat, wonder what their method for disposing of them would be??????
That is awesome! Our local paper used to put pictures in the paper from our county fair like crazy and now we are lucky if they even mention the fair, let alone anything agriculture related!
The Angus magazine had a great article on urinary calculi in cattle

It doesn't take much of the ammonium chloride...
Once the calves are broke I don't use the ones with the rings anymore unless they are just being led or tied high. When they are tied looser and start eating the halter will come right off. I came back in the barn after feeding, had just stepped out for a couple of minutes, two calves were...
We had one last year that did the very same thing, actually dribbled urine and stood stretched out with his back humped up. When we figured out what it was and started with the ammonium chloride it took about a week and he actually was able to urinate a stream instead of just continuous...
Here's a great example of what happens when you throw the shtuff into the fan. Hate to be hypercritical, but I think you meant too, which has an entirely different meaning...I was gonna stay way away from this one, but I couldn't resist (lol) It's all in good fun. Please don't call the spelling...
Isn't it funny that the ones that literally come up to you in the pasture to be petted as baby calves seem to be the worst ones to halter break? And I think it is because we expect more out of them.
"we?" wahahahahahahahahahahahahahah.
those who seek to be insulted will be insulted.
i challenge everyone to evaluate their lives and see if they have ever called anyone a name ever. it's pretty clear that by saying someone is a hypocritical idiot, you are falling prey to your own circular...
He has every right to defend his work, which is very good work, but he doesn't need to be a smart *** about it when he defends it and insinuate that anyone who didn't like it is a hypercritical idiot.
No one likes being insulted, so if you feel your work was, explain your work or whatever was...
evaluators, intelligence. Actually you would fit right in with some of this group, not everyone uses spell check either. Personally I don't think you have the right attitude to be in this group, we usually don't take very well to people who have a chip on their shoulder. If you will read...
GREAT way to get people to try the bull, insult them! (clapping) (clapping) Try hard enough and maybe you can turn this site into warfare like most of the other livestock sites.
