I dont know how you feel about dying cattle hair but if I were you I would consider it. It looks like he has a patch of white right on his flank and it makes him look taller then he probably is. Other then that he look sweet, good louck!

Last year we had a really steer calf that was eating through a head gate and a bail rolled on top of his head, and he died right there. We are a lot more careful with placing the bail now.

I am not sure if this will help or not, but here it is. The one thing that I ahve found that golden child lacks is bone. We got a steer out of him this year. The calf is out of a sugar ray cow who always gives lots of bone. I guess that is just what I have noticed about golden child.

Has anyone had any calves out of him this year? I know there were some really nice calves that came small and grew good, just wondering if everyone had the same luck this year?

The cow in my avatar is a foreplay. She is one of te best cows that we have. Her calves come a little small but growgood. The only thing about her is that she doesnt have a lot of milk.

It will probably take more then one wash to cure this problem. It happens to me once a year it seems. The kleen sheen will really help also.

Has anyone ever has trouble with feeding barley. We have a heifer that had very loose manure. So we were only feeding her barley. It just kept getting worse and worse. We got her tested for everything and she came back negitive. So all she was getting during this processes was braley. We...

Well I was going to fog my steer today, but only had brown vinegar. I didn't use it becuase I wasn't sure if it would be good for the hair, I didn't think it would matter though.
