I made a mistake. I forgot we had AIed another cow to Colt.  So this is actually the first calf born.  It was a 70 pound heifer out of a Free Bird cow. 

She resembles the white bulls mother at that age.  We have two calves out of colt now.  The next one was a 70 pound heifer out of a heifer.  It is almost solid red with just a little white in her flank.  She is pretty cool as well.

He weighed 87 pounds.  We think he could be kinda right come spring.  He is the funniest little calf I have ever been around.  He like to be scratched.  He will come up and rub on your leg like a cat. His mother was Ryan first show heifer who won her class at the Junior nationals in 2012. 

Looks like a solid female.  Good shape of rib decent length of neck long out of her hip.  The kind we like to have around.  Might be straight up front but couls be the picture.

We have a Durham red heifer selling in the Shorthorn 500 sale the end of October.  She will end up being a pretty nice calf.  The red angus influenced cattle mature a little slower. At least that has been my experience.
