I've sat here and read this thread quite a few times... and continue to wonder... could it be screw toe? The reason I wonder this is you said you had feet trimmed and she was fine again. Are her toes long and curling?... Just a thought.

Another thing to have tested for (especially if feeding cane... we've had quite the time with it) is Nitrates. Can cause breds to abort and a number of other issues. As stated below, be VERY careful if youre using cottonseed hulls and feeding bulls, otherwise you may be looking for new bulls...

Johnny posted a roan female a couple times sired by GM. Saw her in person in Denver, and IMHO she's as good of female as any I've seen.

thanks mark! the females bred to him, as a whole, I'd call sound. they definitely move out with ease & cover their tracks without a problem; if anything I might get criticle as a few tend to want to get a little up under themselves... which I CAN LIVE WITH. I'd rather have a female like that vs...
