we have had a couple out of first calf heifers. only 2 but didnt touch either we were very cautious with both

And also i was looking for some opinions on Polygraph.  Have seen excellent calves out of him, just wanting some info from several people who have used him.

I just heard this and yes it was from an ABS rep. Like i said before we got excellent rates with Headliner last year. That is why i was getting some more opinions.  Wasnt trying to start rumors, you can see this from my first post. and we will be using headliner again

Anyone know the quality of the Headliner semen? We used a bunch last year and had good rates but heard the quality isnt very good anymore. Also what does everyone know about Polygraph?

The right ones were in the top 5 both days, but i felt that they were alittle mixed up, jmo.  I felt for the heifers Masseys Cross should have been reserve but hats off to Kempkers as their heifer was right there. I also felt the 5th overall shorthorn plus steer should have been higher up, but...

we considered this last spring but opted to go away from it because of fuel cots and the trouble of getting it set up right. The one we looked at was only a 30 footer

we used him even though we didnt like the picture or him in person. i know sounds stupid (dads pushing) just 5 units calves are due next week.

mostly simmi/angus heifers. One was a Macho/6807 another was a Radar/angus and the rest were commercial angus

not personally a big fan of grizzly calves had a few last year and they were really no better than our angus calves

Scary truth. Had one last year that was a stud other than that tried everything, but never got the results i wanted.... best advice keep working the hair down there and hope for the best

not a big fan of witch doctor as far as calving ease. Never seemed to work.  Mine were always 80-90 pounds JMHO I would use total solution
