    how?????

just walking takes the line out of them. They would have to be stiff as boards (literally) to keep a line all day.

SHOW YOUR SWOW STEERS ,CATTLE, BULLS ETC.

This is my Santa Gertrudis cow (heifer in picture) that will make her final show at our county fair in June. She has a hereford marked Star-five heifer. She has been Reserve American once, Champion Santa Gertrudis and class winner numerous times.

Heifer goes off feed whenever we travel

Vita Charge drench works really good. Just give it once a week and the night before you travel and that should help. The gallon jug works in my opinion better than the stuff in the tube. It will lighten up your pockets a little, bit but will help alot.

winter 2010 born, houston american steer (2012)

The yellow steer is a good steer with a lot of good qualities. But in my opinion if the red steer was weighing 900-1000 lbs like the yellow steer. The red steer would win. But your yellow steer is already to 900-1000 lbs so there is no guessing and he is good. The red steer, we have to guess...

So our calves have done okay. But we are...

    Supply Shopping?

I would get a Plastic scotch comb (doesn't matter, red or black) because if your walking in the ring and a metal one falls and the calf steps on it it will cripple him beyond repair (even if your walking him/her at home )but a plastic will just ruin the comb. Ruined Comb or Ruined Calf. I take...

feeding show heifer in last weeks of pregnancy

That is exactly right! She will get to fat and kill herself and the calf if you feed her like  a show heifer. She might end up with some awesome calves in the future but if shes dead....
