My TH & PHA free suggestions:
Pure Maine = Hard Core
50% Maine = Hairy Bear
CharX = Troubadour
Shorthorn = Ivy Leauge, not proven but looks like he'll work on her.
Matt Lewis, Limousin breeder, Not going to use the thickist, biggest bone calf out there, needs to be complete, functional, with enough power. He judged Ft. Worth 2009, look at the champions.
What is everyone's opinion on the best TH & PHA Free bull to used to still have great calf prospects, that will also work on a variety of different cow types?
Thanks a lot Brad,
I should have went with G-Joe on the first go, but I did not have the resources at the time. This was her first calf. I am defiantly going to breed her in 43 days to G-Joe, Thanks CUTK for the pic. Thanks again Brad for the awesome G-Joe Hat, everyone around here wants to...
I have a Ali daughter (75% Maine) that is tight in her structure and heavy muscled. She just calfed a 108# bull out of a BK Excalibur son. The calf is also a little too strait legged for me also. I need some suggestions on a bull that has work for ya'll to free up straiter structured cows...
How Much does he weigh? Age? Show destination? You need to check your show rules and see what medicine you can give her. Equex is a really good product to add to your feeding program, but he may need some banamine or dexamethosone to bring the swelling down.
