Get a good belly on a heifer on show day

What I do is feed them normally both night before and morning of especially if you're showing later in the day. Give them a bucket to feed. Then hay them, all day I will put half scoops of beet pulp, feed, anything until they quit eating thst certain feedstuff, then I'll change. I've had great...

Teen wanting to learn to clip and fit

I think you just have to find the style and way you clip by piecing what you like and how you like a calf to look. At the same time you have to keep an open mind if someone that's been doing it longer suggests something don't just say no look at what they are trying to show you.

Teen wanting to learn to clip and fit

Just do it! I was the same age when I started clipping and fitting. And did the exact same thing he did by watching and asking questions. I started at Fort worth open show my people didn't show up and I had to. Sure it won't look the same as everyone else but that's the growing pains nobody...

    Capishe?

I used him on a big big  salute x double  stuff cow that needed some depth of rib. Cow is pure white and got a white calf with skin spots. Great week at San Antonio with a Great heifer

Personal opinion of a great one. Going into shows anymore for me is taking animals I think are good and not caring what the outcome is because I know I put the best one I have and put the most work into it. Didn't say this one is a great on in the sense that it wins every day didn't try to...

Great week at San Antonio with a Great heifer

You all have seen this heifer from the start but this post is more bragging on what a great job the family that is showing her has done. I mean from where we started in November at Fall Classic to where we are at now is night and day. And the girl showing her has a connection with this heifer I...

What do y'all think of this mating?

Haven't tested her. But would strongly assume she's a carrier

What do y'all think of this mating?

I know I wasn't trying to sound upset with y'all's opinions I value them I was just trying to elaborate on my management practices and the success rate with heifer breeding. I think it's k-Kim cash the shorthorn. I feel comfortable breeding her this way, I'm unsure on bloomer myself.
