I am breeding for clubby steers.  I do not need to buy one I am a breeder.  I have never seen any steers out of him and was wondering if he would throw some good ones.  I have some boardwalk seman but didnt think he would put enough muscle in them.  Just wondering yalls thoughts on the matter.

start creep feeding at 2.5 to 3 months of age.  if you do not want to crrep feed that long you can feed them show feed about 45-50 days prior to sale date and they will look good.  i would creep feed for few months then switch to a show/finish ration before sale.  hope this helps.

Look at the EPDs for the bulls before you buy the seman.  bw and ce is there for you with acc. for each.

tyson is heifer safe most of the time, but he will occasionally throw a large calf.  I have seen both.  Its the ali in him that makes him throw larger calves.  Personally i wouldnt chance it if you have all your cards in this heifer.  If not go for it.  More than likely you will be alright.

What are thoughts on mammas boy cow bred to boardwalk?  There would be a double shot of WMW in the calf.  What do yall think of this breeding?  Does anyone have any bred this way or any boardwalk calves?
