I agree.  It is a huge chance to take breeding the dirtiest of dirty cattle.  deffinetly test em.  better safe then sorry.  If it was me i would sell them and start with some good clean cattle.  JMO

Iwould try an angus bull or tyson on them.  if you have much wmw watch out for parrot mouth with tyson.  if you dont tyson, smokin joe, or dirty hairy would prob work well for you.  just my two cents.  good luck.  dont rush the options its better to have live heifers and calves thatn dead ones. 

how do you like the oklahoma storm heifer?  I was considering breeding a few cows to him.  Are they sound?

He is out of a bull named butterball.  I have been told by several people that he throws good american calves.  Havent seen any though.  Just an experiment for us. I believe he did good in ok a few years back.  if anyone else knows of the bull and has any info it would be appriciated. 

Fugall works good as well as fugus fighter.  both are available at sullivans supply.  Spray the fungus fighter around your barn and equipmant.  This will help, it has helped us.  good luck fighting the fungus!!!

who is expecting calves from boardwalk?  I m guessing the earliest we will be seeing them is in the next couple of weeks or so.  if anyone has any expecting to calve i would like to know what they look like and what they were bred to.  I am excited to see them. <rock>
